Hi, and thanks for visiting!
I’m Marianna Scaiano (say, “Sky-ah-no” – I know, lots of vowels). Call me Anna. I’m a mom, school social worker, and your neighbor up on the mountain.
I'm running for the Washington Township Board of Education because I’m committed to ensuring our schools help all kids thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our schools are the heart of Long Valley, and our decisions should always put students first.
For nearly 20 years, I’ve dedicated my career to public schools: counseling students, supporting teachers and principals, and building systems to help all kids succeed. I’m excited for the opportunity to bring this experience home and serve our community on the BOE.
As a small district, we have a unique advantage: we can truly know each other, collaborate meaningfully, and work side by side to create the best possible future for every child. I believe in open communication, respectful dialogue, and a shared commitment to our students’ success.

I’d be so honored to earn your support.
